Finally! It is my pleasure to let y’all know that Chivas USA’s Sacha Kljestan and Chicago Fire’s Cuauhtémoc Blanco will be on the North American cover of FIFA 10.
These guys play in the MLS, which is the United States’ excuse for a professional football league. It’s probably around the same level of The Championship in England. Division two, in other words.

The European covers were released last week.

You’re right, La Liga is the league to watch this year, so much so that ESPN bought some of the rights from GolTV to show the games here in the U.S. (Some games will be on ESPN, and some will be on GolTV. Probably ESPN2 and/or Deportes.) EA really should have put Messi and/or Ronaldo on the cover.
My guess is that EA didn’t want too many foreigners on the cover of the North American box art. Too bad more Americans watch European leagues than watch MLS.
