I experienced two scary earthquakes in the last days in Tokyo, so hearing that the local fire department isn’t sleeping on the rescue robot front was a relief. The newest model [JP] can be used for those cases in which the rescuers can’t reach people in an emergency, i.e. if the area is too dangerous for the rescuers themselves.

The so-called Robocue can be remote-controlled and is able to pull victims inside its body via a conveyor belt. After that, the person in question can be driven to a safe area.

The Robocue is equipped with a number of sensors and cameras and can be used as far as 100m away from the operator. It’s sized at 3.98×1.74×1.89m and weighs 3,860kg.

Watch it in action in the video below.

  • Robots eating humans
    “Om Nom Nom”

  • Have we learned nothing from the Terminator movies?!?!?

  • “Have we learned nothing from the Terminator movies?!?!?”

I have: get on the winning team.

All those triumphs by the humans over the machines were just meat-monkey propaganda. I’m gonna glue aluminum foil to my skin and join the winners.

  • Oh this government fear spreading is just getting ridiculous now – please do not spread this fear any further – the majority of the alternative/truth movement are now becoming unconscious agents for the government and spreading all this illusionary fear and power throughout society, which is just what they want.

Observe the governments many many weaknesses and ignore the false power that is being created in our minds.

Robots will NEVER replace man – as they don’t take drugs, get sick or commit crimes etc. these people are powerful and wealthy because of mans’ vices and there not about to replace that with a robot.
Don’t trust Journalists, doctors or scientists who are suing the government for horrific things…..they’re in on the fear mongering too.

(p.s……..I have a digger that’ll lift 10 bodies in half the time as that crude and primitive contraption just did)

  • So, just randomely… can I ask whoever thinks that this robot IS for any humane purpose at all…How many people, out of 10 say, that would need rescuing; fallen, crushed, unconscious… For what ever reason..how many would be lieing in a position (flat on their front or back, legs together & arms to the sides or above their head) suitable to be pulled in or along on that belt ?
    I would say 1 yes 1/10
and that one is a dead person already layed out in the correct position ready for loading & dumping

    Peace

  • Now, THIS is what robotics should be all about. Helping human kind. Doesn´t matter it is still not working perfectly, it will improve. If this had been an american-made robot it would have been designed for murdering, shame of a country…
