Hey, guys. If you haven’t downloaded the Windows 7 RC yet, you better do it soon. The free offer expires on August 20, 2009 – tomorrow. Sure, it’s not free forever as this release will turn off by itself every two hours starting March 1, 2010, but it’s a hell of a lot better than Vista. I have been running it as my main OS on two systems since it was released and it’s pretty much bulletproof.
It’s fast, stable, free and not Vista. What more do you need to know? Download it! Now! Or just head over to the site and get yourself an official product key or two. You can always find the release later if you know where to look. *wink wink* *nudge nudge*

Guys, I wouldn’t lie. Win7 is so much better than Vista. It doesn’t look all that different, but it runs so much smoother.
Does it require a clean install?
You can upgrade from say rc 32 bit to ultimate 32 bit, or rc 64 bit to ultimate 64 bit. Any other path requires clean install when dealing with rc. Ex: rc to pro = no go. Just found that out this week while upgrading our computers at work.
