I was burned last year by AT&T’s prohibitive roaming rates and so last time I flew out I called AT&T to set up a world package. But, as you’ll find, discovering the world packages page is almost impossible on AT&T’s website and the average user will probably have to get burned just like I did before they figure things out.
Well, AT&T just decided to be proactive and sent out a one page document to all iPhone users describing the World Packages. It’s succinct and includes some helpful tips like turning off Fetch and Data Roaming. It’s better late than never, I suppose, and should save some unsuspecting study abroad students next month.
To sign up you have to call 1-866-662-4548. You cant’ do it online.

3 words: Enterprise International Data
Ask a rep about it.
P.S. may require a corporate account. But it is only 70 a month, not in addition of the 40$ Enterprise Data Account, *IN PLACE OF* the enterprise account.
Adds up fast though, 70 for data, 40/50 for voice, 20 for unlimited SMS… plus there is a per line fee for corporate accounts.
AT&T, Make us hate you more – Pleeeeze.
Huh, or they could allays just stop screwing their customers when they have perfectly good pairing agreements in place international.
