Huh. This is actually an iPod Touch theme for jailbroken iPods and it’s just about the coolest one I’ve ever seen. It looks like a bear to implement, though, and the creator is posting it tomorrow as far as I can tell and it apparently works with WinterBoard, the theme system for jailbroken iPods.

That’s pretty cool. Too bad I just bricked mine trying to install a custom boot screen. Should of listened to the warning about only using it under redsn0w. ><

have you tried to restore your firmware using the manual dfu mode by holding the home button with the device off while plugging it into the usb cable on an itunes equipped computer?

Oh yes, I’ve tried everything. I spent honestly about 4 or 5 hours trying and researching everything I could possibly think of. I even called for help through my forum friends. This thing is truly bricked. As in, completely unresponsive what-so-ever and so about as useful as a brick.
As a last resort, I was going to disconnect the battery, but upon opening the screen I accidentally cracked the glass. If I could get it working, I’d gladly spend the about $50 to replace it. But its just dead as all gets out. Right before I bricked it, it had a fully charged battery, so I know its not drained.
i actually ran across the same thing when i jailbroke my friends ipod and i was able to fix it… i ended up using redsn0w’s DFU timer assist to time the DFU mode perfectly (and it took at least 7 or 8 tried), then it came up in itunes as an ipod in dfu mode i believe, then i restored it with itunes and jailbroke it with redsn0w! quickfreedom was a bad choice lol, i love logome!
