Tablet PCs never really caught on, did they? And yet, nearly every laptop sold today has a touchpad / trackpad thingie. Wouldn’t it be cool to use that for the few tablet-y things you’d like to do, like signing your autograph on a document, or making a doodle? Well now you can, with Autograph!

The app is seven bucks, and runs only on the newly released Snow Leopard. Buy a Pogo Sketch stylus and you can get Autograph for free, for a limited time.

  • I bought this app for 7 bucks and think it is a very nice app, it has one big flaw of NOT showing the signature on Gmail or Outlook.

The signature ONLY shows up if your recipient view your mail in Apple Mail program. Do not buy unless your friends all have Apple mail, which is very unlikely. Too bad.

  • Just heard from the folks of this awesome Autograph app that the next release will be Gmail compatible, meaning your Gmail recipients will be able to see your autograph instead of the PDF attachment. I am very excited about this and will buy this in the heart beat.
