Toshiba just launched a super secret laptop with a Core 2 Duo 8700 with 4G of memory and an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570 graphics card. What do all of those numbers add up to? A laptop that can run Windows 7 ultimate and which should end up being quite expensive, especially since it has a little Ducati badge on it.
Like the Acer Lamborghini laptops these will appeal to a very specific consumer and probably won’t be seen much outside in the board room.

My five year old laptop runs Windows 7 just fine. Anyways though…
This laptop doesn’t seem THAT special to me, maybe I’m missing something here…
It’s the ATI Mobility HD 4570 graphics in it. That’s a full-performance graphics card, not an integrated one. That should allow it to run not just Windows 7 Ultimate, but full games as well.
But, lots of laptops have the ATI Mobility HD 4570? Lots of laptops have the 4GB of Memory too.

isn’t this laptop even better?

Back to my point… I don’t see anything special here.
No, it’s not that common to see the ATI Radeon HD in a laptop, as it adds price to the laptop vs. an integrated video system. The ones you listed may be the only models that do have the ATI performance graphics card on them.
