Netgear just came out with their latest network appliance, the Digital Entertainer Live system. It’s a set top box that ties into your home network and internet connection, and (like most home entertainment appliances these days) plays streaming video, music, and pictures to your TV without a computer.
Seems like a good deal. $150, does streaming video, youtube, hulu, PlayOn, Netflix, and the like. It’s got the standard HDMI and component video out, two USB ports, and an ethernet connection. It’ll also work with other Netgear products, including the EasyNAS and other USB storage devices. It’s currently available at your favorite online retailer.

It looks great when you don’t want to open your computer for a internet video! Does it have any internal storage? If it can save something then is perfect!

That remote is nearly identical to the remote for the WD TV HD.
Hi Dave…
Currently I am using Netgear router in my office. I am thinking to try this new product from Netgear.
No internal storage, but you can attach a flash drive, or USB drive, or connect it to your network and it will locate your NAS.
Netgear’s NAS products are called ReadyNAS, not EasyNAS.
