pwn20Apple may or may not out new iPhone firmware tomorrow. But if there is new firmware, the Dev-Team wants everyone to know that they should ignore iTunes and NOT update if they like everything ultrasn0w unlocks. Apparently updating to the new firmware might lock down the iPhone forever. So just hangtight, and let these good folks do their work first. That is, of course, if the iPhone 3.1 update is announced tomorrow.

  • Just like how 3.0 and the update before that were the super, end-all, never-going-to-unlock-again firmwares? Yeah right guys. I mean, I’m not gonna update, but your definition of locked forever seems to be flimsy at best, guys.

  • that mean..we don’t do upgrade to 3.1??or ect
i have 2G with os 3.1 beta include valid UDID ..should i restore to os 3.0.1..?ASAP

  • My firmware is 5.11.07 so I guess I’m screwed then? :(
yeah it’s 3.1 I thought it was the mms but it wasn’t:(
    I miss my Tethering:(
oh and by the way there’s a new window if you have 3.1 go to general and then to usage and you will see a little window saying Tethering data.
