Well they probably have lots of things to update but then again for 4-5hours does seem bit much.
You wouldn’t want to buy anything anyway in anticipation of price drops and new products. Even if you weren’t clued into what’s going on today, you would be upset tomorrow if you bought something that’s either cheaper or replaced one day later.
They may be missing business, but they are saving in customer relations.
