It’s got a pedometer, of that we’re sure, but what about a heartrate monitor? Some documentation for a new Nike+ sports kit suggests that the iPod Nano will shortly receive a heart rate monitor.

AppleInsider has a document found on Apple’s Website describing the Nike+ features as well as a linking system to add an HRM to the iPod. It seems you can also add a remote.

I’d love an HRM for the nano. Then I can take video of myself huffing and puffing on the lowest setting on the stair climber.

  • Good news for nike fan. But nano looks a little bigger, which maybe cause the sporter uncomfortable. Anyway, combined music and sport is always a fashion and healthy life style.

  • i’ve been waiting for a HRM on the ipod.. this shouldve happened a long time ago. I hope its a good Nike+ solution that works similar to the popular chest strap HRMs now (that work with most cardio equipment)
