Winter will be here before you know it, and if you’ve been eying the probably-flammable and not-all-that-warm Snuggie, maybe you’d prefer to spend a LOT more on a two-person version made from 100% Icelandic wool.

“The Twosomeblanket” from Birkiland.com tells a tale of simpler days:

“In earlier times, it was a custom in many unheated homes in Iceland to share beds to stay warm, even with visiting strangers as a gesture of hospitality. People would lay side by side in the opposite direction to one another to keep each other warm.”

Write that part down and memorize it before you hit the bars this upcoming weekend. Perhaps you’ll find your very own “visiting stranger,” if you play your cards right.

Seriously, though, that’s one expensive two-person Snuggie. Keep in mind that you get two Snuggies for the price of one anyway. My wife got me a Snuggie and the spare one, which I thoughtfully gave to her, is still unopened and hidden in our coffee table.
