Video was one of the big features that numerous iPhone users wanted, and now that we have the iPhone 3GS, iPhone developers are taking the video API to new heights. Today, Tweet Reel is launching an iPhone application that is taking video on the iPhone to the next level. Tweet Reel is the first application on the iPhone 3GS that allows video to uploaded at 640×480, from a 3rd party developer. Apple built out the APIs more for developers, and 640×480 video was added in OS 3.1. Tweet Reel lets you shoot pictures and video on your iPhone, upload them to TweetReel.com, and share them on Twitter.
To upload video from your iPhone, it’s quite simple. Download Tweet Reel from the App Store [iTunes link], take a picture with your iPhone or shoot a video with your new iPhone 3GS, and tweet it. It’s that simple. Once you’ve shot your video on the 3GS, you can trim it down to whatever time you want, and then send it to Twitter. Tweet Reel supports multiple Twitter accounts, and geo-tagging, with the iPhone’s core location features.
Tweet Reel is $2.99 from the App Store today.

Awesome! hopefully we never have to watch a grainy cell phone youtube upload again!
I have been uploading to tweet reel, downloading the full .mov and then using THAT to upload to youtube.
If you upload directly from the iphone it compresses it a bunch and you dont get a HQ option =)
