In the mood for French clowns running around pretending to use cellphones?

Boy, are you in luck. Samsung just released this “viral video” (is it viral if it is willingly introduced into the bloodstream of the Internet? Wouldn’t this be an “intravenous video” or a “infection through self-abuse video?) for the Samsung Galaxy.

I just wonder how much they spend on this stuff? And does it actually work? Would you buy a cellphone based on this? Right now I’m more interested in buying puppetry lessons.

  • I’m a bit insulted by this ad. Not because it is odd, but because of one half-second scene. The one where the guy throws the baby in the crib. No, I’m not a bleeding liberal, I’m a dad. I find it insulting that more often than not, advertisers seem to portray dads in a very bad light. I’m a good dad who, for a year and a half, stayed at home to care for our newborn. So, a little thing like that means a lot to someone like me. I wish advertisers would think a bit more before the did dumb crap. I’m sure the flames will be coming my way soon about being overly sensitive – but it is the constant bombardment of this type of image that is the problem. Think about it and think back to commercials you see with dads in them.
