Trying to use a cell phone while riding a motorcycle can’t be an easy task – maybe it isn’t that hard for experienced riders, I have no idea. I’d be all wobbly thanks to a) never having driven a motorcycle in my life and b) having no business trying to operate a phone one-handed while piloting a two-wheeled moving vehicle for the first time. For those of you who can do all that stuff, though, here’s an interesting iPhone motorcycle kit from France.
The MOTO KIT for iPhone consists of a forearm- or handlebar-mounted waterproof iPhone case, an in-helmet hands-free kit, and an optional external battery. The case is available as a standalone product for about $58, the case plus hands-free helmet kit costs $85, and the case, helmet kit, and backup battery costs $160.50 if you need the extra juice.
Shipping from France to the US starts at just over $20 depending on your location.

YAY !! now u can txt while riding !!!!
HOW COOL IS THAT !!
I’m not the most experienced of riders, but I can think of better ways to die than this.
I think its aim is to be more of a status symbol…
“Yeah, I look bad-ass in this gear and bike.. but hey check it out, iphone strapped to my arm. That’s right, im a geek through n through. Now don’t you forget it!!”
Iphones do have velocimeters, GPS (for those speed checks), and there is an app soon that can hook up to the bike and record fuel/air mixture etc. Seems people are forgetting the Iphone is more of a multi purpose Unix box than a phone.
As a motorcyclist and iPhone user, I think this is one of the dumbest ideas ever. First, most serious riders (H-D posers notwithstanding), prefer not to have any hard items in their protective gear. You fall off the bike, items such as keys, phones, etc can cause further harm. Second, riding a bike takes 100% attention, or you die. You have a smaller tolerance for mistakes, and you have to be more aware of the idiots driving cars and using their mobile phones. And lastly, at least for me, riding my bike gets me away from the world. I don’t want it calling me.
It’s good now you can call or text while bike riding. Iphone kit is a good idea.
I drive a moped and have an iphone, I dont think I am really in a position to comment on this. LoL
1989 called; they want their Power Glove back.
