blue-gps-shoes

Finally, a pair of shoes with built-in Bluetooth and GPS connections. Pair them Bluetooth-ily with your cell phone and the shoes can update your location directly to your Faceboook account or send your location out as a text message to five other phones.

Let me be the first to say that I can’t wait to see Facebook updates consisting of latitude and longitude coordinates. Or can I?

Created by Isaac Daniel, the shoes will be available by year’s end for $150. You can pre-order them now if you like.

  • I don’t understand why the shoes are necessary to do those things…couldn’t just about any phone do that by itself already?

  • While they seem innovative in the surface, I think they missed the boat.

What would really be useful is a dog crap sensor, to warn you where NOT to step! :)

  • I found this funny………do they come in heals?
It brought this to mind, Duet 11:24 Every place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours..

    Technology gotta love it!

  • Woo, got to get me some of those shoes! :-)
Really, though I think this is a little too much information – I don’t think unless you’re running late a night in NYC you really care that others know your exact location… or maybe you do!
I wonder if the technology should be called bluetoes…

  • Technology is going to get a common issue in our life. Recently this week also was anounced optical fiber courtains with the possibility of changing exposed colours in a matter of seconds.
The way geolocation is going to be the next frontier of accesibility to information and this sort of shoes would lead you to your desired location very easily.

Good news to do life easier and getting rid of the stress caused when you get lost.

    Congrats for the post!!
