Today could be a big Apple day. John Gruber and Dan Lyons both think that we might just see a plethora of new Apple products today. Exciting, I know. These new models would include new iMacs, plastic Macbooks, Mac Minis, 2nd generation Mighty Mouse that isn’t called a Mighty Mouse, and some sort of multitouch desktop gadget thingy. Yeah, all that is suppose to come out today even though Apple doesnt’ have a press conference on the books and Steve Jobs knows I don’t really want to work that hard today. Yeah, we talk.
Idk, maybe Apple is going to start simply announcing its products the good ol’ fashion way with a press release and a couple of images instead of hosting press circuses. I would vote for that.
As for the new products, anything is possible with Apple and we have heard a lot of rumors of new Macbooks, iMacs, and even for a new mouse. There’s a good chance we’ll see an updated product line soon enough, but I don’t think that day is today. But I could be wrong. I’m only on my first can of Monster Energy drink so far today.
An odd coincidence – In Sydney there is scaffolding and white drapes at the front of the Apple Store, yet I know for a fact that they also have to replace a glass panel that forms part of the structural facade – a major crack has arisen.
Another Australian store (the online one) has switched to the “we’ll be back soon” screen!

I can 107% guarantee we’re going to get something new today. I finally shelled out the big bux for a new 17″ macbook pro- it’s arriving tomorrow. Murphy’s freakin’ law.
well, so far the rumors of what is going to be updated have included iMac, MacMini, MacBook, Mighty Mouse and Keyboard… I don’t think i missed any, but MacBook Pro’s have been absent from any update predictions…
I think you can be pretty sure that your mac won’t be superseded just yet…

I did order the mighty mouse. You know, I’m not a big fan of the touch sensitivity anyway. I have it turned off. Guess I’m a little old school.
i bought my MacBook Air a week before they were updated… It’s not a great feeling, but i still love the computer so it’s all good…
A 1TB SSD would be nice to see in a MacBook Air! mine gets really hot when it’s on my lap!
I’ll tell you a fun trick though. Their site was also down Friday. As such, I squeezed out some crocodile tears and got a five percent discount. shwing.

Some how there was a glitch in the US Store as when I went to it it Loaded the Store. What I could tell is the Mouse,iMac,MacPro were at the top!!!!
