SeeNow is a cute website that allows you to create those old timey “face-in-hole” pictures so popular at county fairs, hay rides, and correctional facilities. The concept is simple: you upload, link to, or take a picture of your face and then put it into a series of clever situations or onto the faces of popular celebrities. Step 4? Profit!
I tried it out with MA this morning and found it to be a more than acceptable way to make a funny picture. The system centers and crops the image automatically and even blends the face in with the lighting and coloration of the photo. The site hopes to monetize through partnerships with media as well as merchandise sales. The technology can also improve web and gaming avatar creation.
Try if for yourself! Your employer won’t mind!

that’s only SLIGHTLY creepy…
This could be fun. Very, fun.
Nice. The editor in me says, spellcheck the headline…
thanks. there was something nagging me about that headline and wordpress doesn’t spellcheck them. feh.
Use Firefox when writing posts and right click to “check spelling”.
FF is worth using just for that reason (among others)!
The “ieSpell” add-on for IE works very well too and gets the job done quickly, cleanly, and is completely free.

Haa! I think I’m gonna check this out…
Great Post!
Well, since my employer won’t mind, I think I’ll use the boss’s face and post it on our intranet. Thanks John! 8-P
Actually, I can already think of some fun stuff to do with this service. Can’t wait to start “personalizing” Fail Blog’s images!
I signed up for Feedviz.in — wondering how they are planning on making sweet $$$ too.
Are there any copyright issues with this?
The Dubya-meets-Being-John-Malkovitch photo gallery makes me weepy.
faceinhole.com does the same thing. It’s a bit of fun.
I had a lot of fun with SeeNow.com. See http://hhott.com/00gs (and http://hhott.com/02Bj, related but not created by SeeNow). The SeeNow guys can contact me (andyp at hhott dot com) if you want to add all the photos into dozens of our HHOTT widgets automatically so people can share all these photos with just one click. It is more fun to share all the photos, not just one at a time.
The first one makes you look like a Narn dressing up like Jason.
Sometimes, at posts like these, I wonder how the mighty have fallen.
Blocked! Boo. I’ll have to try it out at lunch.
This is actually a lot of fun! But if the seenow team are reading this FIX THE BLURRING ON THE FINAL IMAGE! When playing around the uploaded image is detailed but the final image looks like crap.
