If the pictures of Honda’s little peanut-shaped mobility device weren’t enough for you, well, now you can see it in motion. This demonstration at the Tokyo Motor Show has a rather smug-looking presenter zipping it all over the stage, and not falling down once. I have to say, he looks a little unsure as to what to do with your hands. I’d like to think that if I were in his position, I wouldn’t naturally assume a “WHAT WHAT” stance.

  • ..but will it be android-os based?

  • so how does it handle on a rougher surface?? how does it handle on carpet? not sold on it yet.

  • How fast is it ? How much ? Where to buy ? When available ?
Also I would like to see video on how it handles on inclines and grass, gravel and sand or dirt. Or is this just for use on sidewalks and street crossing ?
In regards to the street crossing, what about curbs ?

With my arthritis being a factor I wasn’t that impressed with the Segway because of having to stand for duration of use. Whereas this unit seems to simply require good balance.
