Thank the cell phone gods. Verizon finally announced that the heavily leaked and previewed BlackBerry Storm2 will be available on October 28th for $179 after a $100 mail-in rebate. Let’s move on.

Considering the complete lack of hype and the fact that it is basically just what the original should have been I think they should drop the “2″ from the name and have everyone go about their business as if the last year of Storm didn’t happen.
Psh. Not interested.
Let’s see, I could buy the BS2 for $180 or the BS1 which is basically the same thing for what? $50? I’m not paying a premium on the same device with a slightly different name.
In any case, the BS is like Vista. It’s probably pretty decent by now, but that’s not going to change anything so just kill that damn thing already. Try it again, this time from scratch and make it awesome considering you’re freaking Blackberry for crying out loud.
I thought Peter Ha and his Storm bashing ways already left?
