Here’s a little heads up on Target’s upcoming Sunday circular: if you buy any two Wii games at $50 or more, each, you’ll get a third game free from “a choice of over 80 Wii titles.” The deal will start this Sunday, November 1st, and run until next Saturday.

Starting this upcoming Tuesday, November 3rd, you can also get a Target GiftCard between $5 and $100 when you buy certain electronics items. Per Target’s PR team:

“Score big savings and get a free Target GiftCard (from $5 to $100), when you pick up the holiday’s hottest tech gadgets this week: Free $20 Target GiftCard with Flip Ultra pocket camcorder ($149.99), $25 Target GiftCard with Apple 32GB iPod Touch ($295), $10 Target GiftCard with 8GB iPod Nano ($145) and $5 Target GiftCard with 2GB iPod Shuffle ($55).”

That $100 gift card comes with the purchase of a $570 Canon DSLR and $200 lens but, hey, $100 is $100. You can also get a $20 gift card if you purchase the Band Hero bundle for $200, which is set to drop on Tuesday on PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii.

That is all.

  • Sweet. I was going to buy 2 next week anyway.

  • I was also going to buy 2 next week.

  • Hey — clarification on your article. The deal is for ANY Wii game UP TO $49.99. The way your article is worded, it sounds like the 2 games you buy HAVE to be $49.99 — that’s not the case.

I was disappointed when I first read the article, because of the $49.99 games, I already have the ones I want, and don’t care for the others. Didn’t think there’d be much of a deal here for me. But I went to Target anyway, and sure enough, ALL Wii games were eligible for the deal.

As you might expect, the register automatically makes the least-expensive game your free one. But they can be lower than $49.99.

For example, I bought Family Feud 2010, Press Your Luck 2010 and TPIR 2010. Each was priced at $39.99 so I paid $79.98 and one game was free.

A friend of mine bought two $49.99 games and got PYL free, since it was the lowest-price game out of the trio.

Obviously you get the best bang for your buck by getting three games that cost $49.99 but it’s still a great deal even if you’re looking for cheaper games.

  • A discount or a free game is the best thing for a game lover. I have shopped a lot from online gaming stores and found Fat Gamer (http://www.fatgamer.com/) to be the best. You get really good discounts on the games and their delivery is also fast. If you are looking for a pocket friendly way to fulfill your craving for video games, I suggest Fat Gamer.
