I think we’ve learned something today: not to buy stuff off the TV. QVC was selling, last night, a Nintendo Wii, Go Play Circus Star Games, and a bunch of accessories (golf club, tennis racket, etc.) QVC wanted $362.97 for the bundle, but if you look at the retail price for all this, it comes out to $239.97. Yes, that’s a $140 premium. For what?
To be fair, QVC later slashed the price of the little bundle to $318.20, which is still a hot $80 more than retail.
Never mind the fact that QVC is selling the bundle for that price, the real question is: who’s dumb enough to pay hand over fist for the bundle? And who still buys stuff from these channels?
Outrage!

A lot of people do it because they offer easy payments. Its the same people that shop at rent a center.
QVC so 1990s
I bought from QVC before where I end up getting good deals. Similar to all retail shopping, there are times when they actually offer items that are worthwhile. As a consumer, you just have to make sure you do your homework before purchase anything anywhere for that matter.
My mom watches this all the time and has for the past 10 years at least. I can’t stand it she buys so much crap from them. At least it’s better then the “Popular Club” they really screw you on stuff.
They got to pay, for the LCD they busted showing the thing off, somehow.
Zing!
