Happy post-Halloween! Thanks for sending in your costumes and thanks, most of you, for following the rules. That said, I’m proud to show you the 11 best costumes in this line-up, as judged by all of us at CG. I added one extra because we just couldn’t bear to choose between the various Iron Men we saw.
Here’s how to vote:
1. 1 vote = 1 comment. You can vote once for each and any entrant. You can vote for multiple entrants.
2. Do not use robots. Seriously. There are kids in this contest and although I suspect their parents are just using them to get a free XBox, let’s give them a fighting chance.

Well none of them meet my personal criteria for Halloween, which is very traditional. For me, it has to be a scary costume. It can be an evil robot, it can be a scary “concept” or it can just be a zombie, but it has to be scary. And anything that is even remotely sexy is out, even if it’s “sexy scary”. Gadgets are never scary, although I would have allowed for a Blue Screen of Death. I guess the Wild Thing is scary in a playful way, which is acceptable, and Wall-E qualifies for the dystopian future he represents…

Thanks, but I don’t need it. With a steady diet of prune juice and graham crackers, I get all the nutrients I need. Plus the Geritol stains my dentures.

The only costumes on here that is worth voting for is the two Iron Men. This costume contest should just be a show down between those two. Why the hell is every one voting for FireFox, Like if she is going to give all of you guy some booty? Did she buy the ears and tail? There are millions of girl that dress up as a Cats, fox, or lion. Why is it because she have a ball makes her costume original? I would really hate to see a movie class home made costume lose to something like that.
CrunchGear should be the ones to pick the best costume, not you guys. Plus CrunchGear gave the smaller Iron Man his own Story page. It would be so offensive to ether of them if they lose to something like that.
CrunchGear please reward the Xbox 360 to the costume that you feel deserves it.

Did something happen to the counts? I swear when I voted for the (bonus) Iron Man late yesterday the comment count in that post was around 170. I know it was ahead of Firefox anyway as I thought reason was finally taking over.

I’m the guy in the wall-e costume and this is my reaction to all the anti-firefox comments:
If I were to honestly vote for who appeared to put in the most effort, I’d have to give it to one of the ironmen.
However, the firefox, although somewhat easy to put together, is very creative. I’ve seen other wall-e’s and I’ve seen other Ironmen, but no fire-vixen. She took a geeky icon and made it a pretty cute costume. She deserves props because with very little effort she out-did us nerds who spend forever on our costumes. So give the girl a break.
