xkcd

Damn, xkcd comics. I got up early this morning – with a little help from the time change – with good intentions. That was until I saw the new xkcd comic that charts character grouping throughout some of the most epic movies. I wasted my morning looking at this damn thing and you probably will too. Don’t blame me though. I warned you.

  • That is ridiculous….

I don’t get the 12 angry men one…Good movie though.

  • Beautifully done! It reminds me a bit of “The Visual Display of Quantitative Information,” by Edward Tufte, a book showing ways incredibly complex interactions have been understandably represented over time. But no Harry Potter? Saving that for Volume II? It helps that these are mostly linear narratives and flashbacks don’t complicate things – next I want to see “Lost”- I double-dog DARE you! Just to show it can be done!

  • I love true creativity like this…

Something that would sound so lame is so fun to look at…
