Zune down! The Zune support forums are awash with users claiming various issues with Zune subscription media. Songs are not showing up, or if they do, they aren’t playing. Sounds like an authentication issue to me, and those happen every once in a while — but for weeks on end?
Any of you fine folks out there having trouble? I’ll see if I can scare up any info from the Zune team and post an update later. [Thanks, Aditya]
Update: My Zunepal tells me that the DRM reset tool might work, though that’s all the information he volunteered. Anybody brave enough to try it?

Nope, All is fine.
All my zune pass music is working just fine…
I had some issues when I tried to purchase an episode of The Office a few weeks ago. There customer service was horrible. I figure they fooled me once.
All good here too.
i have always had trouble with Zune Pass (and non Zune Pass) content purchased from Zune Marketplace. Usage rights dissapear for no reason. I am told i cannot sign into the marketplace to verify the rights when i clearly am browsing through the marketplace and can purchase new content. Customer Service is terrible. Absolutely the worst I have ever experienced. They do not know what is going on and seem to not even know how anything about zune works. The Zune Pass is a great idea as well as selling downloadable content but when i purchased (not Zune Passed) a song i thought i had the permanent rights to it… not so with Zune Marketplace (at least not back in 2006 when i first started using Zune) I cant really tell if they have fixed that problem since so much of my Zune music regularly becomes unplayable either on my pc or on my device
I was having trouble playing purchased content on my pc since upgrading to win7 (clean install). I wound up deleting the problematic songs from my collection & then re-downloading them. They play now but are now only zune pass content type–so I’ve lost the permission to burn them to CD.
It took me quite a while of trolling through forums to come upon that solution (such as it is).
I learned the hard way that if you buy an album (let’s say in 2007, for example) and in 2009 the availabillity type changes (meaning you can now get it DRM-Free as an MP3), you lose your ability to restore it to your collection from the day it “went MP3″ and onwards.
Customer support tells me they have no control over this, as the Music Industry is the issue here — but the excuse seemed rather lame to me.
Most recently, this happened with the Black Eyed Peas album (the most recent), and my ability to redownload it went away. I complained about this, as I frequently “pave” my systems and start up fresh, and they told me they could do nothing.
….but strangely enough, the next day I WAS able to redownload the MP3 version of this. Looks like they flipped a bit somewhere after my call to them, even though they informed me they couldn’t. (I used to work at MS, so I knew there “are always answers or ways” to help customers out — if the competence level of the person on the phone is high enough.
All the work is going on fine.
