I know I’ve been trolling these MW2 posts, but people like me are only thinking to IW: “I told you so”. *sigh* morons…

yep…sad thing is: there is no way to ban these cheaters because IW didn’t add any kind of game admin tools. They said “you don’t need an administration console because their won’t be any cheaters”. Those guys are geniuses over there at IW….
They can’t let you admin their servers. That’s why there’s no admin console.
Oh, come on… you really think even if they let someone admin the servers that it will stop any cheating? The fact is, on any type of computer (this includes xbox 360 and ps3) you can hack anything at anytime. someone doing an admin server could actually be blind to any type of cheating, because some wise-guy happened to find a way to make his gameplay invisible to to everyone else’s screen. sure, the name, killcam, and stats will show up, but nobody will actually know where exactly hes at. so no, the admin would not work.
PC, Right?
Is this for the console and if so which one? The PC version comes out tomorrow so what version is this for. I am a Steam user and I have had to pre-download a new version every day this week…alright almost every day (last 2 days).

Makes me so glad I am not playing this on the PC.
Why I play COD4 MW 1 on PC and there has been cheaters in that for a long time. I still play you just have to take it with a grain of salt it’s just a game and yes they will get you but you can get them still.

Except in MW1 you can ban cheaters because you had control of the server. With MW2 there are no such controls.

they need to smarten up for the pc version and just give us our own servers, seriously why did they need to change it, it worked awesome in cod4 why break a good thing?

This is why I hate online PC games, there isn’t any PC game that I know of that doesn’t have some kind of hack, bot in it. I hope GoLive is a hit, it can potentially get rid of this because the game is on the server and they stream it to you.

So yeah maybe no wallhacks, but u do have aim assistence, and with the EVIL controller u can shoot every weapon twice as fast than people playing with non modded controllers. Its the same shit everywhere m8. Console fanboys bah.
can this hack be used on PS3?
All they need to add is vote-kick and the game will be tolerable. If vote-kick was there, at least the fukn hacks could be kicked.
Since there is no way of kicking or banning these hacks now, there is nothing you can do except quit the match and find a new hoping there are no hacks in it too.
Maybe you US guys should start class action against IW. I mean, they sold a game saying to the public, after telling the public that there will be no hacks – and there are.
Sue them for stress, anxiety, fukn everything – maybe then they will implement dedicated servers and admin tools.
This really pisses me off, I bought the game 2 days ago, because I got sick of the hacks in Combat Arms. I played a few games, and noticed with a few players that they seemed to just dominate beyond words, clearly because they new where everyone was. they were way too precise in locating players based on the radar. So I figured I would look to see if there really was wall hacks already, sure enough.. there are… they need dedicated servers, and they need to bring back screenshot system that punkbuster used, called pbscreens, it would random ss a players screen and an admin could go though the screens ( saved to the hosting server ) at a later ( or anytime ) to look for wall hacks, or any abnormal display items.
this kept fear combat for the most part almost completely legit.
This new generation gaming community sucks! thers young kids, take this being #1 ideology way to far, so far they need to hack to do it. sad.
Does anyone reading this use these? I’d like to know why you won’t put the effort in to get good at the game on your own?
I have been tempted to go this option myself to try to even things up, but decided i’d rather die a lot than cheat!

Hmm. I’m fine with people trying to hack a game, and even with Valve and Activition kicking those folks off steam servers for doing it. If you want to cheat and deal with the consequences fine. But I hate censorship and the DMCA takedown of the video above showing the hack is just that – censorship. It bothers me that the video above “will not display due to copyright infringement”. There are probably 10,000 other youtube videos up there of MW2 that are NOT taken down. Why don’t they issue DMCA against all of them?
Yeh, they need to fire some people. . you’d figure after years of creating games they’d know how to hit the nail on the head by now. Needed the servers, specifically for this reason. Now we’re stuck with random people??!!

Infinity Ward doesn’t care about you. I am to the point where I can’t even play multiplayer because there are so many people hacking. There will be no support for our troubles. Infinity Ward bailed on us. They got their money. I will say though that the single player is probably one of the best games I have ever played. Great story line. Multiplayer was awesome too until maps got played out and the hacking became rampant
