How’s that Modern Warfare 2 boycott going? Well, judging by this screenshot, it seems that many of y’all were either bluffing, or simply couldn’t resist the temptation to, as Rock Paper Scissor put it the other day, Put The Cursor Over the Man’s Face. Boycotts only work when, you know, you follow through with your threats…
Yeah, I kinda saw that coming. I bet the remainder of those people pirated the game to “stick it to the man” :P
This is another propaganda that will just lead on Armageddon. You can’t deny the fact that millions of people bought the Modern Warfare 2 – having a astronomical traffic is quite the obvious. Just wait a little longer and those dedicated-server will surely sprout out.
speaking of boycott.. 1 Million XBOX LIVE players got their as-s whooped by Microsoft for playing pirated Modern Warfare 2 on their RIG.

If you’re dumb enough to play a pirated game on Xbox Live you deserve to be banned. End of.

You illogically assume that to play COD, you have to buy the game. He simply stated that he hasn’t purchased the game. He could have played it at a friend’s house or in the store.

I didnt pay full price for the game, so I cant really justify boycotting…Now if the game wasnt on sale when I wanted to buy it, yeah I would have waited or bought something else.
Theres 87k people already on the PC version.
Activision stinks. They ruined SOF and now they dumb down (for the girls) MW2. PC gaming days are over, and I for one play NO MORE. FU all!
The game is hacked within an inch of it’s life already, so who cares what IW said about no dedis, no mods, etc…And once you stop caring about IW’s attempts to drop the PC version, there’s no point boycotting it. Just buy it, wait for modders to make it into a real game, lol, then play. :)
Still sticking to the boycott. And my friends all bent over and bought the game. And guess what’s happening? Now they are stuck on servers with no mods and no custom maps… and now they are all complaining about the hackers, and their inability to kick them. HAHA! HAAAAHAHAHAHAHA! I guess that half the game should be about half the price, in my opinion. And I am already seeing very cheap brand-new copies on Ebay. Too bad, IW. You won’t be rewarded for your gestapo tactics, at least not by me. You treated us ALL like hackers. And I would call that a FAIL.
Oh, and Nelson…. just because you spread your legs for the man, don’t assume that the numbers aren’t being affected. It’s so funny when the people like you who shelled out all of that money for this crippled piece of crap try to justify their own weakness. If I was stupid enough to buy it, I would probably be like you and try to deny the fact that you… got… served.
