I know people go gah-gah over the Mario franchise, but I have a hard time getting excited over a 2D side scrolling platformer. It’s just too retro. Sure, it looks like there are some interesting 3D effects, but its otherwise just too retro for me. There have been other Mario games that I’ve actually enjoyed because they’ve been innovative – Paper Mario and Galaxy are two that come to mind. But this one just seems like its pandering to the people who would buy anything Mario.
Why does this game remind me of sonic the hedgehog? and does not feel like mario’s original
So excited about this game, have already logged 6 hours straight over the weekend, up to the ice levels in world 3, getting harder now.
