Not content to merely offer competitive pricing on Black Friday, Amazon has gone ahead and somehow turned Black Friday into an entire week. The online retailer will be offering plenty of deals every day – some better than others, with the best ones selling out quickly.
Although there are far too many items to list in a single post, here’s a look at what’s in store. Check Amazon’s Black Friday page each day for the full list of deals too.

After getting burned by the 2005 Amazon Black Friday Xbox 360 scam, I totally avoid buying from Amazon.com during the holidays. I’d say it dramatically reduced my purchases throughout the entire year there entirely. Buyer beware.
What do you mean scam? I’ve got one of those very units still hooked up to the family room TV (Yeah, so it RRODed once. What else is new). Pretty cool to have a 360 that – even with adding a 20 GB HD came in less than a current sale-priced Arcade version.
There public web servers went down from the massive wave of traffic but others knew Amazon had mirrored their public pages on the secure domain. By the time the public servers were restored, the inventory had been depleted by those other folks and Amazon.com did not limit their purchases. Many bought the unit at the sale price and turned around and resold them on eBay at full price. It really irritated me and so I’ve learned to take my purchases to other retailers where I previously was spending hundreds per year with Amazon.com.
not only this one.. how bout xbox 360 for 199 USD with 3 games of your selection..?
Did I hear you say Motorola Droid for 99 USD too? LOL
All hell breaks loose on B. Friday! Juicy details: http://bit.ly/black-friday-insane-deals-come-and-get-me
“and suddenly all became just a piece of candy”
Oh, don’t forget to bring a gym-buddy all the way to the walmart.. “it’s war out there”
Chris, it’s understandable that you’re upset about the people buying the consoles on sale here and then reselling on EBay, but that do that everywhere. I know tons of people who sit outside Best Buy all night and buy one of every one of their ticket deals, then turn around and make a huge profit selling it all at discounted prices, but more than they actually paid… It’s just life.
Amazon has traditionally been the best in terms of price and service; they have some great deals going on today. Their free shipping offer adds the icing on the purchase cake. Amazon has Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 for only $59.99, and some $5 magazine subscriptions are available. There are some nice Garmin GPS sales as well. See http://www.YS50.com for the links.
A great deal for the LG 37 inch at 1080p can be found at bit.ly/5GnNwo. The price is 40% less than retail and these products are great!
