Despite what the Internet said a few weeks ago, Microsoft tapped Family Guy to advertise Windows 7. The first one aired last weekend, but the video above and the one after the jump have just been posted to YouTube proving the partnership isn’t dead after all. Watch and enjoy, but don’t expect anything edgy and hip.

They both sucked. Not even funny. You’d think with as much money that Microsoft has, they would make a better mercial.
It’s kinda hard to make a family guy joke while advertising for Windows 7.
The point of the ads was not to be funny. It was to associate Windows 7 with the popularity and awesomeness of family guy. So the presented the ad in a format that’s been used in family guy episodes in the past (The second was a scene from a previous family guy episode with a couple word changes)
I love Microsoft advertisements. Bing goes the internet, song forge, Windows 7 burger? They come up with some strange things.
I’m happy to see the dirty “M” word trying to make a comeback and I think they will do great! Kind of makes me wounder who their target market is though with these commercials LOL
I like the idea! But is the final result so great? In my opinion not so much…

While I think that Family Guy is pretty funny, the show has gotten more and more offensive as time has gone by. There is a lot of negative energy coming from and being directed back toward that show. Strange that Microsoft would consider it a good match for advertising.
As much as I hate all the windows 7 commercials, I love the family guy but then again I hate it how they had to do it on the family guy too.
