Global warming has been one of the biggest scams of the 21st century, the ‘independent’ group of scientists keep messing with the data on behalf of the solar power and alternative energy lobbys. The leaked out emails and data show that.

In GM’s defense, this story was taken out of context. These were the “Volt Dancers” at the LA Auto Show Chevy booth. They shot this and posted it on YouTube–that’s the person that should lose their job. It’s typical cheesy, trade-show style entertainment(?), not a promo video.
Apparently they’re really into that kind of stuff in Australia.

AND we wonder why our cars continue to SUCK here in America. We cannot even figure out a way to sell them correctly.

The coverage this video is receiving around the web is worth ten times whatever they spent on it, if it was just some fluff filler for the auto show, it is now a home run.
I think our local high school drill team could have done a better job and that is not saying much.
Also, an electric car is not green. You still have to get the electricity from somewhere and that usually comes from burning coal. Besides the fact that 40 miles per charge is a joke! I can get 36 mpg in my VW passat, and it is a large comfortable four door sedan with a killer stereo system.
It is also important to note that anyone who stays educated with current events knows the whole greenie movement is a joke. They created a faux crisis to make money and did a good job with that for awhile. Now it is all starting to fall apart.
However, it is not all bad.
Should we be better about keeping the planet clean? Absolutely! It makes it a very pleasant place to live. Is it going to kill us all along with the polar bears and melting ice caps? Not a snowball’s chance in hell.
Should we explore new technology and new ways to make cars? Yes we should! But let the free market decide if the time is right for that technology, not the government forcing it on us. That is called a Nanny state and the majority are against that kind of intrusion and loss of freedom.
Bailout money well spent!
