It’s crazy how the slightest little hint of something starts all the rampant speculation about Apple’s product development. This is the third clue that the next generation of iPad will have a camera, if not video capability. It certainly explains the stuff that was found in the SDK.
So add it up: first you have support for video conferencing in the SDK. Add the fact that the leaked picture of the bezel shows a socket for a camera. Add to that, a job posting that recently appeared, looking for “a software quality engineer with a strong technical background to test still, video and audio capture and playback frameworks.” This all looks to add up to the inevitable fact that the next gen of iPad will have video capabilities. Makes you want to run right out and buy a first gen version, doesn’t it? Oh well. Apple will still sell a ridiculous number of the things.
I don’t know why people waste energy speculating. You know it’s going to happen.
It will just make people wait for the next generation- speculation spawns procrastination with consumers
When apple released the first iphone -I bought it
When the 3g came out a few weeks later – I cried and upgraded it
When apple released the 3gs I just upgraded and gave my dad my old 3g
I’m just going to wait till apple release a solid version of the ipad which is not an oversized iphone.
but why wouldnt Apple equip the IPad with a camera in the first place? it seems like such a basic feature. i know it wasnt overlooked, does anyone know the reason for the lack of a camera?

I have an Acer Aspire 4530 laptop. What I want to know is if it is possible to keep it on all day. Like plugged in, sitting on a table and everything. Youknow when you leave it for a while it just turns off? I don’t want that to happen because i am trying to upload something and it will take longer than i will be at home, and if it turns off it will cacell the upload, pleassee help :) thanks – Jill!

i put a game onto my computer the other day and before i installed it my computer would shut down in normal time(little less then 1min) then after the game was on my computer it now takes around 5 to show the box for shut down, standby, or switch user, then another 3min to fully shut down…any ideas why?
