Windows Phone 7 has a gorgeous interface. Everyone can agree with that. But this concept shows that it even transfers to a 8-inch slate just fine. Plus it throws in a a built-in stand, two analog joysticks and a keyboard for good measure. We like. Click through for a quick demo video.

  • It appears that Windows Phone 7 will NOT support SD cards, and it will have locked hardware and software. Huge fail on their part, copying the same failings as the iPhone is just a bad move!

  • I think this looks awesome! And now that I hear that Windows Phone 7 IS going to get cut and paste and multitasking I feel better.

The form factor of this tablet is beautiful and I think Windows phone 7 would be great for a tablet. I really hope this comes out.

The only other tablet that made me smile as much as this is Courier. If both came out at the same time I’d have a hard time picking which one to get. I guess which one did more and had better battery life.

  • No. No, no, no, no, no, no. Microsoft should not follow Apple along the horrible path of putting a phone OS onto a large display. Microsoft already has the Courier and as we’ve seen OEMs are finding their own ways to add onto the Windows 7 OS in terms of touch finger friendlyness.

Can Microsoft improve the touch interface for Windows for tablets? If they catch on, yes. Under any circumstance should Microsoft attempt to put “Metro” on a fully sized tablet? No.

    • MicroBoy Microsoft didn’t make this tablet, it was Umang Dokey a freelance designer. But I think this does show that Windows Phone 7 would look very good in a tablet.

I’m not saying Microsoft should make it, I agree Courier should be Microsofts top idea for a tablet. But if say HP or Dell, or another company wants to make a tablet thats like this, that would be awesome and would definitely give the ipad a run for its money in style, looks and functionality.
