A list of rumored items for the Sam’s Club Black Friday ad has been percolating around the web lately. There’s no ad scan to confirm any of this yet, but I’ll update this post once more information becomes available.

Believe it or not, the Kohl’s Black Friday ad actually features a decent amount of electronics deals. Stores open at 4AM on Black Friday.

A big thank you to everybody for filling our tips-at-crunchgear-dot-com inbox with wonderful, unique, and newsworthy items. Here are a few that we missed.
When news of the Litl Webbook broke out on Wednesday, I was pleased to learn that the company is located here in Boston, since there aren’t nearly as many people in this area making actual hardware devices, as opposed to software and web companies.
I got a chance to sit down with CEO John Chuang for a thorough overview of the Webbook, so check out the above video for some information about the design philosophy and user interface behind the $699 transforming internet computer.
Remember when the first VAIO P came out and everyone was like, “I can’t believe it has Vista! That angers me! I am currently outraged!” – something along those lines? Well now it has Windows 7 and comes in four different models ranging in price from $850 to $1900.
The HTC-built DROID ERIS will go on sale tomorrow at Verizon stores for $99 after a $100 mail-in rebate and two-year contract agreement. Equipped with HTC’s “Sense” user interface, the ERIS “offers customers the opportunity to customize a seven-panel wide home screen with a wide variety of widgets designed to bring the most important information to the surface.” On sale tomorrow at Verizon’s retail stores and website.

Short Version: As ergonomic mice go, Microsoft’s wireless offering provides plenty of relief from repetitive stress injuries without deviating too far from the familiar form factor found in standard mice. And with an MSRP of $80 (and available for even cheaper online), it’s priced competitively with other specialty mice.
Poor Wii owners (I’m one of them). There will be no Modern Warfare 2 for us. In a recent interview, Infinity Ward’s Robert Bowling explained that the Wii’s relatively underpowered innards in comparison to the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 make it impossible to replicate “the cinematic experience” across all platforms.
Here’s the “Litl Webbook,” a $699 portable computing device that acts as a laptop and then folds over on itself to act as a digital easel “ideal for passive or ‘lean back’ web activity like enjoying photos, listening to music, or consuming news, weather, and other web content,” according to a recent company press release.
Although previously targeted for launch on October 22nd with a price tag of $500, it looks like Archos’ 9-inch tablet is just now available for pre-order on the company’s web site and priced at $550.
Acer’s new 18.4-inch AS8940G-6865 is a desktop replacement. And by “desktop replacement” I mean that you could attach four legs to it and use it as your desk. It’s big, is what I’m trying to say. Don’t actually attach legs to it, but I guess take with you the impression that this is a large laptop. Also, it’s powerful, so keep that in mind as well.

Kmart’s Black Friday circular has found its way to the series of interconnected tubes that we all know and love. Here’s a list of the electronics deals you can expect to find.

Gather round, everyone. Gather round. I’m going to show you a trick that 98% of you will never use. But for the 2% of you that actually use the information contained herein, I hope you’ll consider removing at least part of the CrunchGear staff from your “People to Punch” list.
These $90 neckties are made from 50% cotton and 50% old audio tapes. There’s more, there’s more. If you have the time, interest, and/or wherewithal to take apart an old tape player, you can actually run the tape head back and forth over the tie to kinda, sorta reproduce the sounds originally found on the cassette.
This is still a rumor at this point, but Phone Arena is reporting that Verizon may soon be offering Sony’s 8-inch “not-a-netbook” VAIO P for $300 with a two-year data contract.
Shocked? Not me. The constant one-upsmanship inherent in the weirder-than-weird world of Wii accessories and software will never, ever, ever end. Take this new entrant, due out in Australia next month. It’s called Baby and Me and features, you guessed it, an actual doll with a snap-in port for a Wii controller.
