Get exposure, hone your craft, and make unverifiable claims, snap judgments, and inaccurate predictions just like the guys on the CrunchGear staff. It's like fantasy baseball camp except you can only get fatter and less tan!

CrunchGear's BFF is a blog for you guys, about you guys, moderated by you guys. This is your shot at making an impact in the tech blogging world. And we're not just talking gadgets, BFF is for anything even slightly related to gear that you think your fellow readers would like to discuss.
It's a pulpit, a soapbox, and a showcase, all in one. If you think we're not covering your favorite topic enough, talk about it here. If you think we're off-base about something, this is your place. Basically, if you have something to say, and CrunchGear's commenting system doesn't cut it, BFF is here for you.
So now that we know what it is, how does it work? It's easy. Sign up, pick an avatar, and start blogging. You can post as much as you want, comment on one another's posts, and start all the arguments you'd like. It's for you.
You can save a post for editing later. Or, if you're set, publish it and it shows up on the main page. What's more, published entries will also show up in the sidebar of CrunchGear.
If you see a discussion you like, rate it. We're using a star system. The highest rated post each month will get a very special prize from one of our sponsors. Digital cameras, smartphones, GPS units, iPods, they're all up for grabs if you've got the juice to start debate.
Sadly, for copyright reasons, our lawyers won't allow posts to contain embedded images, but you can link to them just fine. Most other formatting HTML is supported, as is embedding of videos (please turn autostart off, k?).
In the end, BFF is your place, so treat it well. And treat your other BFFs well, too. We're not trying to create a social network here, we're just giving our precious readers a forum, because often you've got more to say on things than we do, and in the end, wasn't that the promise of the Internet?
Blog on, BFFs, and let's see what you've got.
