Dave from MobilityToday reviews the Treo 800w, Palm’s $249 Windows Mobile Treo sold by Sprint. While I’d rather watch Dave test the blend-ability of this toad, if you need/want WinMo, need/want a Treo, and need/want to watch something that isn’t about the iPhone then maybe this is a good choice. I need to go get [...]

Did you wake up this fine Sunday morning and say to yourself, “You know, I need an terribly thorough look at the new dock for the iPhone 3G”? What luck, then, for iLounge has put together such hands-on.
First, the bad: the dock for the iPhone 3G isn’t included with the phone itself. The privilege of [...]

I never in a million years thought they would do this. Their finger is truly on the pulse of the nation.

While now may be the best time to buy an iPhone 2G on Craigslist or eBay, it sure as hell isn’t the time to buy an iPhone 3G on those same sites. Cruising Craigslist New York and San Francisco, one finds iPhone 3Gs for as much as $1,000.
Prices on eBay are much the same, [...]

Just got an interesting tip from a reader. I wasn’t there and I don’t know what happened, but apparently one of the AT&T stores in my neck of the woods has some iPhones in stock but can’t sell them until tomorrow because of some cryptic agreement with Apple. They’re taking orders for the phones [...]

Well this is a fine kettle of fish. iPhone activations have essentially gone down and everyone - from folks updating their old phones to new 3G activators - are stuck with bricks until traffic dies off. Reader Brent reports:
Hey Just a heads up…my iPhone, and looking at their forums, everyone else’s iPhones are bricks because [...]

UPDATE: If you listened to the call-in, Biggs mentioned that the store was running out of iPhones. Just got e-mail confirmation from him that the AT&T store in Bay Ridge has indeed [...]

Seagate has just given storage a bump across the board with the introduction of a 1.5-terabyte 3.5-inch hard drive – the Barracuda 7200.11 (running at 7,200 RPM) – and two 500-gigabyte 2.5-inch drives – the Momentus 5400.6 and Momentus 7200.4 (running at 5400 RPM and 7200 RPM, respectively).
All three drives use the Serial ATA [...]

Go ahead and type “iPhone” into Twitter search engine Summize, and you’ll see just how much Apple’s phone has captured the hearts and minds of the tech élite.
Some Tweets are rather negative, though:
• KyleFlaherty: kind of happy that I’m traveling today and escaping iPhone mania
• indigoskynet: Oh, clearly I’m gonna get sick of today real [...]

One more video after the jump. Also, I used the Nokia N95 8GB to stream all of this live this morning. Fact: the iPhone/3G can’t do that. What’s up with that, Apple?

Here are two new cases available tomorrow for the launch. I think they’re both from Incipio.

Be sure to stick around, folks. We’re going to have an exclusive that you won’t want to miss and it’ll be LIVE. There’s a reason why I just live streamed the unboxing of a Sidekick. It’s called a trial run. Heh. Be sure to come back or stick around till then. It may or may [...]

Thanks to the wonders of the international dateline, the 3G iPhone came out in New Zealand today. The guys from iFixit got their grubby little hands on one and took it apart.
Once they popped the thing open they saw that Apple combined the logic and communication boards, making more room for the battery. They also [...]

I just came back from the Softbank flagship store in “Tokyo’s Fifth Avenue”, Omotesandou street. Softbank is the exclusive carrier of the 3G iPhone, which will be available extra-early in this particular store on July 11th, 7 am (July 10th, 6pm EST).
And the man you can see in the video, Hiroyuki Sano, will be the [...]
