The last time I used or even owned a camcorder was back in the mid-90s. They were always too big and transferring video was only something a pro did unless you were just copying to a VHS tape. It wasn’t worth the time or the effort. My, have times changed. As with most technology, things [...]

What would I have done the last few months without my precious Novatel broadband dongle from Sprint? I would have had a hard time bringing you news from the halls of CES without trekking over to the blounge. We would have been sans photos from the Macworld keynote. I also would not have been able [...]

I love the Helio Ocean, and I love Opera Mini. When some shadow devs used their fancy footwork to make the two work together, I was a very happy boy. Helio was impressed too, and today announced that the alternative browser would be officially supported on the Helio flagship handset.
This is notable for a few [...]

We haven’t covered patents in quite some time, simply because companies patent everything and that doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll ever produce them, but this patent filed by RIM seems to hold some water. This basically means we’ll have bigger screen BBs (duh) that are possibly touchscreen as well. It retains the trackball, which I’m ok [...]

This one has a slot for an AAA battery built in, [...]

Helio has once again dropped the price of their unlimited plan down to $99 from $145. You know the drill. Now drop on by your nearest store and take advantage while you can. The Ocean and Mysto are great choices in case you needed some advice on a handset.

When I switched from the Sidekick Slide, I decided to stay with T-Mobile since I’m month-to-month with them rather than jumping to AT&T or Verizon or Sprint. So my BlackBerry Curve is sans GPS, but has Wi-Fi instead. It sort of evens out. Well, in the three weeks that I’ve been away I’ve done some [...]

I was planning on posting this last week but Hickey didn’t send back his list so I decided to add my own. Essentially, I thought it would be cool to see what the CG crew was carrying during CES, offering a glimpse into the one-man-band that is a professional blogger these days. Take a look [...]
