This is a hot one, folks. Oh boy. Are you ready? There’s a new Logitech Squeezebox coming soon and it’s going to sport a touchscreen. Can you believe it?

Xbox 360’s owners can soon stop being jelous of the PS3 Logitech Wireless Guitar Controller. Yup, soon they will be able to get their own premium wireless controller with a maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, a virtually silent strum bar and metal frets. The controller is an official liscenced product so it should work seemlessly for Guitar Hero when it launches this August for $199.

Logitech’s Bluetooth mouse lineup has been somewhat non-exsistant lately, but the M555b takes care of that. This mouse seems like your standard two-button mouse but the wheel features the hyper-fast scolling that some love in the MX Revolution line. Plus the mouse features laser tracking and a low-battery indicator for the AA power source.

The keyboard everyone in the world drooled over for months and months is out there on the market. It’s got its own LCD screen, it looks slick as hell, and it costs a mint. You know you want it, but should you really buy it?

CrunchDeals: Logitech MX Revolution wireless mouse for $50

Best Buy has a heck of a deal on one of Logitech’s best mice: the Logitech MX Revolution. The retailer is selling it for just $50. That’s $25 less than Amazon is selling it for and 50% off the MSRP. Good deal? Yup. Good mouse? Everyone says so. Just remember that Nicholas Deleon was singled out and persecuted by Best Buy when you’re saving that cash.

You better be really into flight simulators to own the new Flight System G940 from Logitech. I mean, you better have a multi-monitor setup and a custom gaming chair that these controllers can bolt onto if you’re going to own this. Flight simulators better be your life because this bad boy system costs $299. Never mind the fact that it has some impressive-sounding features and is probably the most authentic feeling rig outside of a NASA simulator.

logitechPretty nice deal on a refurbished Logitech Harmony 890 remote. Selling new for almost $220, you can get a refurbished one for $119.99 if you’re down with owning a remote control that expensive.

guitar1Newsflash: people love Guitar Hero and Rock Band. You can tell because Logitech makes a $200 guitar controller that’s currently backordered 2 to 4 weeks.

remoteAmazon’s got the Logitech Harmony 510 remote on sale for just under $50 for a limited time — not a bad deal since it goes for around $70 to $80 or so elsewhere. The universal remote industry in general might — just might — be experiencing slow sales now that people are saving up all their money for boring stuff like food and rent. Oh well. Our gain (as it pertains to remote controls).

Newegg’s little “here’s a few ‘deals’ you might enjoy” e-mail just showed up in my inbox. It’s about games. There’s a few deals you might enjoy.

Listen, if Peter Wentz of Fall Out Boy loves Ultimate Ears, then you will too. “Ultimate Ears…I love ‘em. They block out all outside noise so all I hear is beautiful music.” Yeah, beautiful music, that’s what you have been missing with lesser quality earphones. The latest ‘phones from Logitech’s Ultimate Ears sports two hi-fi channels per ear, which UE tells us will passively block-out unwanted noise up to 26dB. Want beautiful music? It will cost you $229.99, but don’t think about using these with iPod shuffle 2K9. Yup, the earphones do not sport in-line controls or the required proprietary chip. Apple hates you.

Two new notebook cooling pads coming from Logitech

logitech2Notebook pads are something that are going to be around as long as notebooks get warm enough to fry eggs - yours or others. Logitech is the latest to release a couple of bland pads that probably do their job well. It’s just that they are so pedestrian.

Candybar remotes are just so boring and complicated with all of their buttons and whatnot, but large touchscreen remotes are pricey. Enter the Logitech Harmony 1100; a quasi-hybrid of the two options. Unfortunately, the melding of both doesn’t create a best of both worlds, but more like a jack of all trades and master of none.

Logitech intro’d the 1100 predecessor a few years ago and it seems the company has addressed a lot of the original’s criticism. The screen is greatly improved, the battery life is now longer, and the UI’s been tweaked a bit. However while it may look like a higher-end Creston or Control4 pad, it’s anything but. The 1100 is just a Harmony with a touchscreen — that’s not a bad thing, though. And although the price might be right, it does leave you longing for more.

The Wii Cordless Keyboard from Logitech is eligible for a $20 mail-in rebate until March 7th. Amazon carries the keyboard for $39.99 before the rebate, although it’s currently out of stock. If you don’t mind waiting a bit, though, you can buy it now and Amazon will ship it to you when it’s back in stock.

G19-watch continues: Now available for pre-order

More news on the G19: Amazon is now taking pre-orders. No more news on the release date, other than that it’s supposed to be in May.

I just hope Logitech doesn’t have to slip it again. I’m really looking forward to this sexy thing.

by Dave Freeman on February 17, 2009

Not a whole lot of information on exactly why, but Logitech announced recently that they are delaying their new top of the line keyboard, the G19, until May. Given the amount of tech that’s going into this thing, I’m not surprised that they’re having issues.

Logitech went official with the Harmony 1100 just a few weeks ago and already it’s available for purchase. Newegg has the touchscreen universal remote for the low, low price of $499 with free shipping. In order to take advantage of the killer RF capabilities, you’ll have to spend an extra $99 on the RF Extender though. But that money is well spent as with the RF mode and a few extra long cables, all the AV equipment can be hidden away and controlled with this macro-powered universal remote.

by Matt Burns on January 26, 2009

This may be the the plain jane Logitech Harmony, but it’s still a killer remote solution for those plagued with multiple remotes. Everything is consolidated into one unit that’s easy to program thanks to the online setup. It’s a basic model but totally worth $50.

Logitech is the latest company to bow under the global economic strain. The PC accessory maker had a rough last quarter and now has a tough road ahead. But who is to blame? Anyone? Everyone? There doesn’t seem to be a major CE company that has posted positive third quarter results and layoffs seem to be a common trend; Logitech is going to layoff 550-600 salaried positions.

by Devin Coldewey on January 14, 2009

We saw the leak, we got the release, and we got the hands-on; Logitech’s new G-series is sexy as hell. Of course, the G15 may be hard to sell and the G9 is pretty much unchanged since I reviewed it, but the G19 is gorgeous and functional. I’m reserving judgment on the headphones, given how many surround sound headsets are coming out soon. I may just have to do a round-up!

If you like Logitech’s style, you’ll love this series of Flickr sets by Design Partners, who put the things together. The molds, prototypes and all that are there for your consumption.
