There’s two new Xbox 360 bundles coming your way, UK. To mark the arrival of Transformers 2 and Star Trek to DVD (and Blu-ray), Gem and Paramount pictures have put together these blurry bundles.

The bundles are largely identical, and both include an Xbox 360 Elite, an extra controller, and the movie on a USB drive. No DVD for you, friends.

Paramount hasn’t said whether or not these bundles will be released outside of the UK.

And if you do live in the UK, keep your eyes peeled because the release date hasn’t been revealed, nor has the the price.

I’ve seen neither movie, but I’m going to assume Star Trek is better, just because Transformers 2 is, by all accounts, garbage.

The highly anticipated Transformers 2 - Revenge of the Fallen is just around the corner and it seems Japan can't wait to see the summer blockbuster (probably) as well. Takara Tomy is introducing two of the most popular Transformers, Optimus Prime and Bumbleebee, as so-called Robo-Qs. As a reminder, the Robo-Qs are the smallest two-legged robots available. And they are so adorable.

The highly anticipated Transformers 2 – Revenge of the Fallen is just around the corner and it seems Japan can’t wait to see it as well. Takara Tomy is introducing two of the most popular Transformers, Optimus Prime and Bumbleebee, as so-called Robo-Qs.
Just like the conventional models, the Transformer versions are 3.4 centimeters high and weigh just 12 grams. They can walk around detecting obstacles through built-in infrared sensors for 5 minutes before they need to be recharged.

Dubbed Robo-Q T/F Movie Bumblee and Robo-Q T/F Movie Optimus Prime, both mini robots will be available only in Japan from May. Priced at $42, they are $7 more expensive than other Robo-Qs, but that is OK as the licenses surely don’t come for free.

If you can’t wait for Takara Tomy to make an announcement for a possible global roll-out, contact the Japan Trend Shop, Gizmine, Geek Stuff 4 U or Rinkya.

I almost wanted to say you can forget the first minute of this 2.30 minute-clip but then realized I can’t since Megan Fox is in it. The second part of the clip shows many of the Transformer robots, including the Devastator.

Some models, like the Beat and Trax, which will appear as the Autobots Skids and Mudflap for “Revenge of the Fallen,” even affected how the characters functioned.

“That day that he visited us and walked the halls of the studios, the movie developed and in some ways changed,” he revealed. “[Bay] was inspired by things like the two small cars that maybe could work together in some way. That’s all I can say right now.”

The full trailer for Transformers – Revenge of the Fallen was supposed to go online on Monday (followed by playing in theaters in front of the new remake of “Friday the 13th.”). But somehow a bootleg version of the trailer made its way to the web already.

You can’t really expect great quality here but the trailer should be enough to get a better impression of what kind of destruction America gets to see in Transformers 2 when it comes out Wednesday, June 24th (Paramount Pictures moved the movie up by two days).

Revealed today at the Chicago auto show is Chevy’s full lineup of vehicles in the upcoming sequel to last year’s blockbuster hit “Transformers.” There are four new characters this go around that include a concept Corvette, the Volt and two other concepts. I’m going to nap till June 26th like a bear. Someone wake me up the day before.

CHICAGO – Visitors to the Chevrolet display at this year’s Chicago Auto Show (Friday through Feb. 22) will be treated to an out-of-this-world vehicle display – the automotive stars from the upcoming DreamWorks Pictures and Paramount Pictures release, “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.”

Five Chevrolet-based characters – including four all-new characters – are featured in the new film set to open in the United States on June 26. All of them are at the Chevrolet display. The four new movie characters include:

    * SIDESWIPE – a stylized Corvette vision concept vehicle
* SKIDS and MUDFLAP – twin AUTOBOTS® based on Chevy’s Beat (a concept that will go into production as the Chevy Spark in 2011) and Trax concepts
* JOLT – an AUTOBOT-based on Chevy’s upcoming Volt extended-range electric vehicle

BUMBLEBEE™, the heroic AUTOBOT based on Chevrolet’s Camaro concept from the first “Transformers” movie, returns with a high-performance attitude. Joining the vehicles on stage will be BUMBLEBEE in his AUTOBOT form, standing almost 17 feet (5.2 meters) tall and 13 feet (4 meters) wide.

“Chevrolet is thrilled to again be part of one of the most anticipated movies in years,” said Ed Peper, GM North America vice president, Chevrolet. “‘Transformers’ gives us a great opportunity to connect with young people on their terms, with a dynamic, environmentally friendly image. The new characters represent the change going on in Chevy showrooms. From the exciting Camaro, the 21st century sports car, to the game-changing Volt, there’s more than meets the eye at Chevrolet today.”

Directed by Michael Bay, “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” sees the AUTOBOTS confront a new threat from DECEPTICONS® bent on avenging their earlier defeat on Earth. The new AUTOBOT characters in their current Chevy-based form square off against new, tougher foes determined to rule the universe.

“‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’ goes way beyond the first film in terms of robot action and excitement,” said LeeAnne Stables, executive vice president of worldwide marketing partnerships at Paramount Pictures, the distributor of the film. “The new AUTOBOTS add to the storytelling, and these Chevy vehicles went with our filmmakers to locations all around the world. GM has again provided incredible support to the production team working on the movie.”

Along with the Camaro that’s reprising its role in the new film, the other Chevy models to be seen on the big screen are new to movie-goers.

SIDESWIPE takes the form of a sleek, vision concept dreamed up by the Corvette designers at GM. The design is influenced by the original Stingray race car, introduced in 1959, but also draws on Corvette heritage cues from other generations. It brings them together in a futuristic shape that seems to be equal parts racecar and space ship.

“SIDESWIPE represents an exercise in exploration for the Corvette,” said Ed Welburn, vice president of GM Global Design. “By giving my creative team the freedom to design no-holds-barred vision concepts, it helps them push boundaries and look at projects from different perspectives.”

The Beat and Trax-based characters, SKIDS and MUDFLAP, remain faithful to their concept designs introduced at the 2007 New York Auto Show – although each wears new paint and other exterior accessories. And while they may be small cars, when they turn into fighting AUTOBOTS®, they pack a big punch.

The other new AUTOBOT, JOLT, appears in the production form of Chevy’s 2011 Volt extended-range electric vehicle. With the capability of up to 40 miles (64 km) of pure electric propulsion, plus hundreds of more miles with the assistance from its Voltec powertrain system, the real-life Volt will change driving in America.

Of course, the AUTOBOT team isn’t complete without BUMBLEBEE, the yellow Camaro based on the new, 2010 production model. Sporting new wheels and SS-model performance cues, BUMBLEBEE is more stylish and powerful than ever – and enthusiasts will be able to drive their own new Camaro when it goes on sale this spring. For more exclusive AUTOBOT movie information relating to Chevrolet, please visit www.autobotsrollout.com.

Chevrolet is one of America’s best-known and best-selling automotive brands. With the largest dealer network in the United States, Chevy is the leader in full-size trucks and the leader in sales of vehicles priced $35,000 and above. Chevrolet delivers more-than-expected value in every vehicle category, offering cars and trucks priced from $12,120 to $103,300.
DreamWorks Pictures and Paramount Pictures present, in association with Hasbro, a di Bonaventura Pictures production, a Tom DeSanto/Don Murphy Production, a Michael Bay film, “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,” starring Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Kevin Dunn, Julie White, John Benjamin Hickey, Ramon Rodriguez, Isabel Lucas, Glenn Morshower and John Turturro.

So,

The Super Bowl spot is coming Sunday in the third Quarter (few minutes into the quarter slot). The spot will be online a few minutes after that – The full length teaser trailer will only be on Friday the Thirteenth. It will not hit the internet until a week later. The Teaser really only teases stuff – I’m holding so much stuff back from the final trailers because I personally hate going to movies where you have seen it all.

Tell me what you think,

The Bay, that’s how we’re going to refer to Michael Bay from here on out, has announced that a handful of sequences from Transformers 2 will be shot with IMAX cameras. However, the rest of the movie will be re-mastered for IMAX, but those scenes will be seen in traditional letterbox. When the IMAX sequences come up the picture will fill the entire screen. The movie coming to IMAX is old news, but scenes being shot with IMAX cameras is new, in case you were wondering.

“The extraordinary level of detail and intensity captured by the IMAX camera creates many exciting possibilities for us with this film,” said Michael Bay, the film’s director. “IMAX’s all-encompassing format will take this story to a new level, and I am once again very excited to share The IMAX Experience with Transformers fans around the world.”

OMFG, Megan Fox in IMAX, OMFG!!! Mark your calendars for June 26, folks.

Images just surfaced which might feature Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen possible main antagonist – The Fallen. We’ll save you the Google’n and give you a little back-story on the evil Cybertronian Tank.

It seems that this Transformer’s real name was lost overtime and is now know only as “The Fallen.” He was one of the original 13 Transformers that Primus created to inhabit Cybertron with him, but eventually fell into the cohorts with Primus’ eternal archenemy and twin brother, Unicron.

Originally created to aid entropy along with the aging and disbanding of the new universe, he now represents all the evil and chaos that is Unicron.

Long story short, he was trapped with Unicron during the first battle with Primus, but a space bridge accident with Optimus Prime and Megatron weakened the barrier enough to allow him to escape back to Cybertron. Once there, the story goes that he recruited other Transformers and was eventually defeated by Primus himself after infiltrating the Well of All Sparks.

The Fallen’s altmode, while never used in the fiction, is a Cybertronian Tank and those pics are clearly one rock’n tank.

The Internet is abuzz that these pics are really Megatron ’cause one has that lable, but combine what you just read, along with the title of the film, then remember Megatron’s death at the ending of the last movie and tell me that what we are looking at isn’t Unicron’s chief bad-ass acolyte, The Fallen.

Or, it could be Galvatron…or conceptual art…only Bay knows.

LatinoReview & TransformersWiki

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but Wal*Mart rules. Why? Because they’ve got a pretty sweet promo going on that will soon become obsolete since we’re posting the exclusives, but we’ll tell you about them anyway. So here’s the deal. When you purchase one of three special edition cover Transformers DVDs you’ll get a special access code that unlocks a behind-the-scenes video from the set of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen every week. Or you can just use code: AllSpark62609. Heh. We have two of them available now for your viewing pleasure after the jump.

Any guesses? Commenters on Flickr say it’s Jazz (he’s dead), Tracks, Wheeljack or Hot Rod. In case you haven’t been following TF2 news, parts are being filmed in Long Beach, which is supposed to be somewhere in China. Other photos from the set can be found here and here.
